Issued from collaboration between Takuvik, an international joint laboratory between University Laval (Canada) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, France), and Le Musée du Fjord, a scientific museum institution based at Saguenay (Québec), Ant’artiste is a photographic exposition held in the Musée du Fjord from June, 11 to September, 17 2017. On the occasion of the Antarctic Circumnavigation Expedition (ACE) and the Mertz Regional Diversity Assessment Project, this exposition presented to the public a selection of photographs taken by Parafilms Inc. during the ACE expedition in order to highlight the incredible biodiversity of Antarctic ecosystems as well as the unusual side of some benthic species living on the seafloor.
